Because of its transmission mode through sensual gestures, the virus has deeply affected the sphere of sensuality. Many of the most common tender gestures such as embraces, kisses and caresses that we used to demonstrate our affection can now be harmful. Since many traditional affection signs are henceforth limited or even impossible, creativity appears as a necessity to help us find new ways for interacting and connecting with ourbeloved ones. Art curator Julia Rajacic gathered 28 artists from all around the world to answer this existential question triggered by the pandemic : how to nurture intimacy with the Other in a context of physical distanciation ?
