ABOUT THE PROJECT

CONNECTING ARTISTIC MINDS WITH THE LATEST SUSTAINABLE TECHNOLOGY

MUSE is a cultural initiative that, in the union of contemporary art and technology, identifies the connection capable of contributing to the formulation of creative responses to current environmental challenges.

The exhibition features a series of 20 works by international artists invited to imagine "the energy for the future" and inspire our transformation journey as individuals, organisations, and societies.

The event is realised in collaboration with National Museum of Digital Art, Fabbrica del Vapore Milan where the exhibition is hosted, and Philips Professional Display.

It has been made possible through a deep dialogue between protagonists of the contemporary art world and the technological sector, driven by mutual curiosity and a strong willingness to collaborate on these crucial themes.

The selection of works comes from the finalists of the first edition of the MUSE Digital Art Award, an art prize created with the intention of connecting artistic minds and sustainable technologies to share creative visions on today's major environmental challenges.

MUSE represents a unique event as it is the world's first zero-energy digital art exhibition. All artworks are presented on Philips Tableaux ePaper displays, designed to show static images without energy consumption.

Exhibited artists: Alexandra Crouwers, Bianca Carague, Chao Wang, Doug Tolman, EKOANGGE, Elena Aya Bundurakis, Giacomo Erba, JaZon Frings, Kailum Graves, C-LAB (collective), Lauren Moffatt, Leonard Maassen, Luca Carlevarino, Marcela Magno, M., Muhammad Amdad Hossain, Paolo Treni, Rodolfo Canete, Yu Chunju, Yuri Negrebetsky
